The most lavish of all prefix menus this year is at Osterio Tulia in Downtown Naples on 5th Avenue. And not because Chef Tulio is a good friend of mine but because he has YOU select 3 courses for $36 out of a selction of 5 soups and salads, 4 appetizers, 14 entrees and 3 desserts! Don't forget to try the Autumn Pear Salad and Garganelli Pasta made with lamb.
For your seafood fix, get yourselves to Coast at the Edgewater Beach Hotel in Naples for their Ceviche Shooter!
For your decedent dessert fix, make it a habit to visit The Melting Pot in Fort Myers for chocolate fondue. It's worth every delicious bite.

A staple in Bonica Springs is the one and only Roy's Restaurant with amazing Hawaiian fusion. Flavors only Chef Roy and his team can bring with one bite like this dollop of diced ahi tuna tartar on corn tostada, below.
I attended the First Bite Party to get a sneak peak of some of the menus that will be showcased in Restaurant Week. I loved the beautiful Arancini Rice Balls from South Fork Grille in Estero. I'm a marinara nut - and just was in heaven with the homemade sauce they were accompanied with! The next unbelieveable bite was from The Pearl Steak & Seafood Restaurant in Naples with their Beef Carpaccio, arugula and house vinaigrette, below.
If you look closely at many of these dishes you will notice that they are adorned with Florida MicroGreens. A big shout out to Rob Epple. These pretty microgreens add a big punch!
Bison EVEYTHING when you visit Ted's Montana Grill in Estero. They have Baby Greens Salad on their prefix menu to compliment that rich but lean meat.
Baleen at LaPlaya in Naples serves up an elegant slice of NY Strip on a bed of nutty risotto.
